Solos-a-Plenty
and Two Tandem Flights for Rick!

Natalie and I drove up with Mark and Rick where we met Charlie, Cal, and Cornell. It was forecasted to be cloudy all day but the sun was shining with a nice southerly wind blowing so it promised to be a flying-filled day.

Adam from Lake Cowichan was there for the tandem component of his DayTaster Course and his family joined him, cameras in hand.

Charlie was first in the air, taking off from Main, and he worked some light lift out front before hooking into something decent just west of the LZ. Natalie was next and, as she did yesterday, powered off the mountain skillfully. Way to go Natalie!

I set up next with Adam and we were in the air in no time, enjoying the views together. Adam was surprised by how quiet the tandem flight was and he went home wanting more!

I then headed to the Training Hill to work with the Slade brothers while the rest of the crew (now joined by Shabe) continued to fly from the mountain.

Did I get everyone's flights?

Back at the Training Hill, brothers Paul and David each put in their best session to date with over a dozen flights each. They are both now ready for high flying!

Happy Thanksgiving!
