Here on a program through Ottawa U, Jenn was scheduled to work during the Tall Ships event in the inner harbour but had the morning off. What to do?

I didn't have anyone else scheduled today so I was able to give her a good tour of the southern part of the island (and, being from Ontario myself originally, I could appreciate how amazing the ocean and mountains were for her).

We made it to Mt Prevost in Duncan around 11:00 and we had great conditions for an easy reverse launch from Main and some soaring. She was excited during the entire flight, snapping away on her camera. We saw bald eagles, turkey vultures, and a red-tailed hawk which made it that much better.
