And Kuno gets back in the air!

Paul and I took an early ferry to Saltspring where we meet up with David, his two daughters Melanie and Xiofy (Sophie), his wife, Cheryl and their Saltspring friend Michelle. The plan was to do tandems with the girls and Cheryl but the weather wasn't looking like it was going to cooperate (overcast, light drizzle).

"What a day; challenging but gratifying. Some of the crew had one long flight (Charlie and Rick at 3 hours plus) while Norm was happy with his return to the air before things got rough. Merwan and I had 2 flights each.

Winds were forecasted to be N/NW but the lapse rate was high so I decided on Mt Prevost. Natalie's mom, Abby, was over from Vancouver and she said that she'd been building up her nerve to try paragliding so, if conditions were good, she was in!
